Summary
The objective of the role is to lead, architect and manage the technology eco-system of LK Asia Data Platform and integrate with IT Enterprise Architecture along side business controlling that supports the organization’s vision, mission, and strategy.
What you’ll do

The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:

• Lead and manage staff to maintain, support and further enhance BI & Analytics systems.
• Build and maintain robust data architecture aligned with latest cloud technology.
• Design and build efficient data pipelines that ensure data quality and integrtity.
• Work with business stakeholders in the analysis and collection of business reporting requirements and understanding their needs.
• Act as a gatekeeper in data architecture as well as collaborate with IT Business Consulting , Infrastructure, ISO & Architecture team for ensuring purposeful data platform being built and mainteained.
• Ensure proper maintenance and support of the BI architecture including security roles, deployments, security patching and performance/status monitoring to ensure compliance with internal technical and security guidelines
• Ensure proper documentation of data infrastructure, data models, workflows as well as security concepts in accordance with internal security policies
• Assist IT management with ad hoc tasks related to BI, reporting and audit as well as other tasks when required.

What you’ll need

• 8+ years of experience in IT, preferably with BI Development background and exposure to different BI domains, platforms, and technologies
• At least 2 years in staff managing position
• Strong knowledge and proven experience in data warehousing (e.g. ETL design / development, data mapping, data cleansing, data modelling)
• Experience in modelling, graphical representations and usage of data visualization
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability and business process understanding.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership and people management skills,
• Proactive, self-motivated, hard-working and able to work in a dynamic environment
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
