EDUCATION
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Biological Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of people management.
- At least 3 years of laboratory experience in academic or industry settings.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
- Industrial experience in sample management.
- Prior histology experience such as microtomy and H&E staining preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Understanding of biobanking operations.
- Expertise in sample procurement and partnership development.
- Strong theoretical understanding and hands-on laboratory skills.
- Excellent documentation, writing, and presentation skills.
- Preferred skills in nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, and next-generation technologies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires working in a laboratory environment, handling biological samples, and operating various lab equipment. Strict adherence to safety protocols is essential.
