Description:
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL….
be responsible for providing a full spectrum of account servicing for new and/or renewal business primarily for SME and existing schemes in all commercial insurance lines. You are expected to develop new and organic business growth by engaging clients proactively.
YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- At least a GCE ‘O’ certificate holder or above with at least 3 years of relevant experience in insurance industry handling general insurance classes.
- Must have a Certificate in General Insurance (BCP, PGI, CGI).
- Performance driven and result-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good command of oral and written English. Fluency in oral Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
- High attention to details and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and growing our existing insurance schemes and SME portfolio; to ensure all customer requests and enquiries are resolved with first-class service.
- Working alongside with Technology team on system integration/interface for our existing insurance schemes.
- Preparing detailed proposals and presentation decks for new and organic leads or for remarketing where required.
- Renewal account management to achieve timely renewal and high renewal retention.
- Oversee, providing solutions and assistance to team members on account servicing.
- Partnering with insurers to assess and address insurance needs of new and existing customers. You will independently handle quotations, terms negotiations, cost comparisons, placements, post-sales documentations, and administrative processes including claims or endorsements promptly and accurately.
- Reviewing current coverage, renewal dates and regulatory and contractual insurance requirements for existing customers – advising on appropriate coverage, conducting renewal insurance comparisons, and negotiating on premium, terms and conditions on behalf of the customer.
- Monitoring Premium Payment Warranty status and ensure customers make premium settlement on time.Performing other ad-hoc assignments which may be assigned as and when required.
