We are looking for a highly motivated, results driven Manager Business Information Security Manager (BISM) to be based in London, help manage security requirements across our one of our Technology Divisions within D&A. Reporting to a Senior Information Security Manager within that division, the successful candidate will also be part of a wider Business Information Security Management team.

The main purpose of this role:

  • Working with and supporting the BISM responsible for Workspace Division ensuring security capabilities are deployed, cyber risks identified and target state follows Group Information Security policies, standards and capabilities
  • Act as the point of contact for both internal and external partners. This role ensures alignment of product and security objectives

What you will do:

  • Develops good knowledge of the direction, priorities, opportunities and challenges within the Workspace division helping to prioritise security focus and drive good risk decisions
  • Supports the BISM in driving development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of all information security related activities in alignment with LSEG’s Cyber & Information Security Strategy, as defined by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
  • Ensures that security standards are applied consistently across the entire function, to ensure the security landscape does not fracture
  • Helps building positive relationships within the product teams to gain an understanding of security-related risks
  • Engages with key partners on the health of their information security programme, providing guidance on addressing key risks identified
  • Works closely with the central Cyber Intelligence and Security Operations teams to identify and mitigate any potential security threats related to its division or resolve Workspace related security incidents
  • Contributes to the development, maintenance and implementation of the Cyber security and technology risk framework and long-term strategy
  • Helps influencing decisions on security by providing guidance that is easily understood and actionable by the business
  • Ensures that Key Risk Indicators and associated Risk Profiles are up to date and shared with relevant parties
  • Supports the BISM in communicating the importance of, and promoting awareness of, information security to relevant teams. Increasing business awareness of emerging security risk. Helping develop a security culture within Workspace
  • Ensures teams understand their responsibilities in relation to security risk mitigation and remediation

You’ll bring:

  • Knowledge of and experience of defining and embedding Security controls and Standards
  • Experience in of conducting security risk assessments
  • Experience with assessing and handling Major Security Incidents
  • Good knowledge of a variety of technologies, including cloud
  • Consistent track record of using industry standard processes and frameworks and promoting innovation across the organisation in the use of technology
  • Experience in regulated areas e.g. privacy, resilience and quality assurance
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationship with a division’s Business and Technology partners.
  • Proven high performance in problem solving, collaboration and priority setting
  • Good communication skills: effective listening, persistence, composure

Nice to have:

  • Qualifications in security management for example, but not limited to CISM or ISO 2700x
  • Business and sector expertise
  • Experience of ensuring security compliance within an agile function
