Description:

We’re looking for a passionate Business SOX Compliance Manager to join or our Warwick based Audit function! Overseeing the testing of the company’s SOx compliance efforts across the UK and US, you’ll have a key focus on operational excellence. You’ll manage a team of 3 SOx analyst and will support them and our co-source providers to validate internal controls over financial reporting, identifying, and testing appropriately for design and operating effectiveness. You’ll coordinate with Risk Compliance and Controls and External Audit teams to support reporting on testing processes, focusing on key deficiencies that are identified. You’ll look to identify opportunities to enhance the SOx program, by adding value and driving efficiencies to reduce the overall cost of compliance.
This role can is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE

  • You have audit or accounting experience and a strong understanding of US GAAP, COSO, PCAOB.
  • You have a bachelors, graduate degree in an finance (Business Administration, Accounting, STEM etc) related field. A CPA/CA, CFA, CIA, CISA qualification would be beneficial for this role!
  • Auditing Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, risk and controls standards and SOX compliance requirements.
  • You understand business elements supporting Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and have experience in, internal audit, internal controls, and risk management.
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are used to managing multiple priorities, have strong project management skills, with a track record of planning and leading audit projects and use a data-driven, digital modern approach.
  • You’ve experience managing a team and can address difficult issues and guide team members toward the accomplishment of identified, meaningful goals.
