WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Post-secondary education (university or college) or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- Technical skills including knowledge of SAP, Excel, MicroStrategy, and Blue Yonder strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of retail experience. Previous experience in Store Operations or Category Management is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, strategic and consumer insight skills.
- Exceptional commitment to customer service with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent communicator up, down, and across a workplace.
- Collaborative team player who supports shared goals and fosters a positive and productive team environment.
- Delivers results in a high-pressure environment with the ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
- The role will require periodic travel.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager is responsible for supporting the development of merchandising floor plans for stores within the Super.Market Division. The Manager will also support executing capital deployment and strategic projects. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Store Managers, Operators, and Category teams to deliver merchandising plans aligned to LCL’s format playbook and improve store space productivity. The role bridges category merchandising and operational standards to deliver a consistent and data-driven approach to store planning to support the growth of the dynamic grocery business.
- Manage and provide site-specific merchandising layouts using data to drive banner initiatives and performance. Interact with Store Managers, Specialists, District Managers, and Merchandising teams on strategy and approval of overall design while delivering a standardized store layout.
- Support Loblaw Real Estate, Store Development, and Operations during the lifecycle of capital projects. Manage all stakeholder priorities attached to the project while ensuring alignment with established banner standards.
- Support requests from Operations and Category using banner data to make changes to store merchandising plans.
- Work with Floor Planning to approve all set size change requests for the banner during the set size window for processing changes.
- Execute Strategy and Category-led concepts and pilots in-store and provide status updates and feedback to the project leads.
