Description:
Purpose:
This function belongs to the European DC Operations & Transportation organization whose purpose is
- to develop a flexible and scalable European logistics set-up
- to implement, constantly improve and run this set-up
- to ensure high quality and on time deliveries to our customers and consumers.
This role is expected to support the implementation of new carrier and services across all European DCs in close collaboration with the local Operation Teams to ensure best transport performance and efficiency for our consumer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive implementation of new carrier and services across the DCs in close collaboration with business, carrier and IT teams.
- Transport SPOC in key improvement projects across the European DCs to increase efficiency through improved service and/or reduced costs
- Regular updates of integration progress to management
- Support all testing steps during the implementation phase
- Create carrier documents and hold workshops to ensure knowledge transfer to business team
- Support the sustain phase after implementation
- Drive carrier and operations related actions out of ECOM NPS results by setting up new services in alignment with business and IT.
- Ensure and continuously improve sustainable transport processes across all European ECOM DCs to ensure best last mile service to the consumer.
- Develop standardized implementation processes for new service and carrier across
- Manage middleware providers with regular review meetings and progress tracking.
