Now Hiring:Manager, Cash Management
The Manager is responsible for the oversight and co-management of the Cash Management Department. Cash Management administers all client segregated accounts and facilitates the preparation and processing of client disbursements, reconciliations, preparation of client account statements and tax reporting statements and tax reporting
Key Accountabilities:
- Co-manages a department of ten Cash Management team members
- Responsible for ensuring inter-departmental relationships are maintained and nurtured. These other departments include Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Human Resources, Internal Audit, BCP, Disaster Recovery, Finance and Treasury
- Responsible for implementing new regulatory requirements as well as ensuring existing regulatory responsibilities are executed
- Oversees monthly reporting of Client Segregated Funds
- Responsible for maintain and directing banking relationships with several Schedule I Banks; includes negotiating interest rates and fees
- Managing flow of funds between banks to maximize margin income
- Responsible for securities brokerage relationships for client transactions, such as Drip purchases and client directed investments
- Responsible for reviewing and approving interest quotes to clients for their segregated funds held
- Responsible for ensuring all client disbursements prepared by team members are completed accurately and within required timelines
- Responsible for relationship with Transtar as it relates to Cash Management
- Responsible for ensuring accounting software is continually updated and working effectively
- Responsible for coordinating and providing information to internal and external auditors
- Responsible to ensure all tax reporting is completed within required deadlines
- Responsible for Operational Risk Management for Cash Management
- Responsible for ensuring adequate and appropriate controls are in place for processing client disbursements and ensuring staff members are adhering to the control framework
- Responsible for developing the Risk Control Self-Assessment for Cash Management
- Ensures cross border wire reporting to FINTRAC is completed
- Responsible for foreign exchange settlements for TSX FX Inc. transactions
- Responsible for planning, which includes short and long term goals of the department plus ad hoc special projects
- Executes TSXT corporate strategy as it relates to Cash Management
Must Have (s):
- 2 to 3+ years of experience Managing people.
- Validated experience with reporting using Excel.
- Experience in financial background/ banking / accounting industry
- Excellent organizational, communication, documentation and management skills.
- Excellent leadership and influencing abilities including the ability to drive innovation and change in a constantly evolving environment.

- Tax reporting, Treasury experience
