YOUR SKILLS
- Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business Administration or (Chemical) engineering or a related field
- Min. 5 years of professional experience in sustainability and/or commercial roles in the chemical industry or consulting,
- ideally with a strong focus on sustainability related projects
- Background and experience in sustainability, purchasing, marketing or sales is a plus
- Excellent understanding of complexity of products, technologies, and value chains required
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Individual with both strategic and analytical mindset, strong project management skills, and passion about driving change and challenging the status quo
- Fluent English language skills, good knowledge of German is an advantage

Responsibilities:
- Experienced senior manager (d/f/m) that contributes to shaping Adhesive Technologies’ strategy for sustainability by further accelerating circular materials with special focus on raw materials
- The special focus is on developing & executing a circularity strategy for our materials and demonstrating thought leadership
- Responsible for developing a circularity baseline centering around renewable carbon, setting circularity targets and develop roadmaps & progress reporting along our technologies in conjunction with Purchasing & our business
- Responsible for strategic evaluation & selection of internal and external supply chain certification systems such as mass-balance certification
- Proactively engage with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies to shape future circular value chains
- Represent Henkel and advocate externally at association or industry initiatives, at customers, as well as in internal bodies - to improve our sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation
