Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $128,410.00 - $145,301.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:
This position supports best practice in the management of claims and liability issues for the Pasadena Hospital Association Enterprise (PHA). The Manager is responsible for ensuring that claims are managed in a manner that promotes the mission, vision, and values of Huntington Hospital (HH). The Manager considers all available remedies to resolve legal actions in professional, employment, and general liability law, contracts, litigation, liability programs, government relations, and other relevant matters and takes the necessary steps to achieve timely resolution. The position is responsible to provide general claims management advice and recommendations to officers and management acting within their scope of employment and other departments and affiliates as applicable.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
7-10 years of professional, employment or general liability claims management and insurance experience.
SKILLS:
Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
