Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide day-to-day management of the CID Team implementing new hardware configurations as well as designing/maintaining & supporting desktop and laptop software images.
- Lead the CID Team in configuring and maintaining Group Policy and OU Structures, SCCM and 1E Windows Servicing Suite environments, development & deployment of software packages and testing and deploying Microsoft Updates.
- Participate in all CID design, development, deployment, maintenance and support activities.
- Provide end users with highest level customer support.
- Identify and develop best practice opportunities and develop standardization across the enterprise for efficiency and cost savings.
- Assist in mentoring and training junior staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field plus 3 years’ experience in the job offered or as Advisor Engineering/Senior Software Engineer/Computer Systems Analyst/Senior Systems Administrator. Also requires 3 years’ experience with/using the following (experience may have been gained concurrently):
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), OS Deployment, Patch Management and WSUS – 1E Windows Suite experience required
- Expert level administration and troubleshooting of Windows OS’s including Server OS
- Active Directory security and Group Policy Objects
- Networking fundamentals
- Interpreting data from Windows Performance Monitor and Microsoft Network Monitor
- VBScript
- PowerShell scripting – PowerShell App Deploy Toolkit
Position based in Dallas, TX but holder may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
