Description:
About the role:
We’re currently looking for a Cloud Accounting Manager to oversee full-cycle cloud accounting engagements and co-lead a team of cloud accountants using QuickBooks Online (QBO) to support our diverse client base.
Our cloud accounting team is a group of forward-thinkers who are passionate about bringing our clients’ accounting into the future. Agile and always with a finger on the pulse, they’re committed to pursuing cutting-edge tools and following rapidly evolving industry best practices to ensure our clients have clear, accurate and reliable data available on-demand and at their fingertips. Our clients value the peace of mind that comes from the wealth of experience, insights and guidance on the implementation of cloud accounting that our team brings to the table with a personalized touch.
How you’ll make a difference:
- You’ll oversee the complete accounting process using QuickBooks Online and integrated third-party applications, ensuring clients’ financials are accurate, timely, and reflective of their business needs. This contributes to clients’ financial clarity and operational efficiency, driving business growth.
- You’ll manage and mentor a team of cloud accountants, providing guidance on best practices, and ensuring high-quality work. Your leadership will directly impact the team’s performance, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment for client success.
- You’ll play a critical role in onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to cloud accounting systems. By building strong, trusted relationships, you’ll help clients achieve their business goals and stay ahead of financial challenges.
- You’ll actively contribute to process improvements by recommending new tools and workflows that increase efficiency. Your ability to adapt to changing technologies will ensure our clients benefit from the latest innovations in cloud accounting.
Who you are:
- You have 4-6 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 years of management experience, ideally in a public practice or cloud-based accounting environment.
- A certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is an asset. Certifications in QuickBooks Online Advanced are highly preferred.
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online; experience with Xero or Sage 50 is a plus.
- Proven people management skills, including mentoring, training, and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud accounting principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization and error resolution.
- Client-focused, with the ability to manage relationships and deliver exceptional service.
