Position Summary:
The Manager of Commercial Data is responsible for improving reporting and analytical solutions to increase the efficiency and performance of our global Commercial organization. This individual is responsible for leading a team that builds and establishes effective reporting solutions, distribution of sales quota and targets, ownership of the quarter commissions cycle, and supports the alignment of the sales incentive plans and account coverage. As part of our Commercial Operations organization, this individual will partner closely with our sales teams, sales leaders, commercial finance, and other internal business partners. This role requires a team leader who is passionate about supporting, enabling, and growing a distributed team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a successful team.
  • Maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and provide reporting support for commercial leadership.
  • Lead and direct the maintenance of data models and reporting documentation.
  • Analyze requirements, improve existing dashboards, and introduce enhanced reporting solutions that leverage data sources derived from multiple internal systems.
  • Management of the individual quota assignments and targets.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to consolidated and submit final performance data to the Compensation team.
  • Support the sales compensation plan design for all members of the commercial team.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by the members of sales operations and commercial teams using commercial analytics reporting capabilities.
  • Champion process and tool improvements to increase team efficiency.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-

5+ years of Sales Analyst, Compensation Analyst, Financial or similar experience.

  • Ability to lead people, prioritize, build relationships, and communicate effectively.
  • BS/BA degree in an analytical or business field (management of information systems, business administration, operations management, engineering, sciences, finance).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Must have experience in customer relations and problem-solving customer issues.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in business or analytical field.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
