OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY:

Today’s Family is seeking a Mission-driven and thoughtful Communications and Community Engagement Manager to support the Senior Leadership Team in fulfilling the mission, vision, values, and key strategic priorities by demonstrating a standard of excellence with internal and external communications and community engagement systems.
The position will ensure efficient and effective workflow of strategic priorities, communication, and governance initiatives to continuously work toward achievement of organizational Mission, Vision, and Guiding Values - a place for every child to experience the joy of learning through play.

YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Alignment with Today’s Family’s mission vision and values
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and administrative skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction; easily adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of client service.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to interpret and communicate information requests
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to high quality work
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly self-motivated team player; ability to interact efficiently with peers and Leadership team
• Extensive technology skills in a variety of platforms
• Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable sector)
• Not For Profit experience is considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 per annum
