Description:
Overview:
The Manager, Community Health Services is responsible for the leading, developing and executing community health services and outreach related initiatives, including access to care initiatives, partnership development, and initiatives supporting whole person care delivery. The Manager will coordinate assigned initiatives to support the execution of a comprehensive strategy designed to enhance and strengthen Novant Health’s broader mission in the community. This position is responsible for implementing programs and events to support specific community engagement strategic initiatives, priorities, and community benefit goals. The manager must be able to interact with multiple levels of leadership, including Novant health leadership, local community leaders, grassroots level leadership, and team members across the Novant Health footprint.

Qualifications:
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional work experience in nonprofit/public organizations, or hospital/community health settings, required. Minimum 5 years of successful supervisory/management experience, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Health Coaching Certification and/or Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Ability to work on a variety of projects, partnerships, and responsibilities concurrently. Ability to effectively communicate with peers, diverse stakeholders, and Novant Health team members. General working knowledge of community health improvement strategies. Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dimensions/EPIC software. Lifelong learner with knowledge of community resources. Travel for business purposes is required (minimal). Must poses a valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle. Flexible work schedule to include some nights and/or weekends as needed.
