Description:

Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the candidates is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee benefits in an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of benefits programs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors and administrators
  • Assist with the design and implementation of employee benefits programs (e.g. Flexible Benefits Scheme, Medical & Insurance Plans, Employee Wellness Programmes) that align with HR Strategy and the University’s goals
  • Manage the enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for all benefits plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to benefits and stay updated on changes in legislation
  • Handle benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure prompt and accurate resolution
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare analytical reports on benefits utilization and trends
  • Collaborate with the HR team to integrate benefits with overall HR strategies and initiatives
  • Provide training and support to employees on benefits-related matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function
  • Knowledge of various types of employee benefits, including flexible benefits scheme, health insurance, medical plans, and employee recreation and wellness programmes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrix organization
  • Independent and ability to manage senior stakeholders
