Description:
Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the candidates is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee benefits in an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of benefits programs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors and administrators
- Assist with the design and implementation of employee benefits programs (e.g. Flexible Benefits Scheme, Medical & Insurance Plans, Employee Wellness Programmes) that align with HR Strategy and the University’s goals
- Manage the enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for all benefits plans
- Ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to benefits and stay updated on changes in legislation
- Handle benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure prompt and accurate resolution
- Maintain detailed records and prepare analytical reports on benefits utilization and trends
- Collaborate with the HR team to integrate benefits with overall HR strategies and initiatives
- Provide training and support to employees on benefits-related matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function
- Knowledge of various types of employee benefits, including flexible benefits scheme, health insurance, medical plans, and employee recreation and wellness programmes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrix organization
- Independent and ability to manage senior stakeholders
