Description:

Manager, Condominium Group
File Review
Reviewing files, approximately 5-6 per week

Duties:

  • Supervision of staff during fieldwork, including review of all work for completeness and budget vs. actual time
  • Communicate staff progress on engagements to Partners, with assistance of supervisor
  • Review of audit engagements – 5-6 per week
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging assurance, accounting, Condo Act, and tax developments (i.e. attending required PD courses, maintaining required PD hours and self study)
  • Preparation of letters and other communications to clients
  • Attendance at AGMs – 2 per week, may increase in June and November
  • Recruiting, training and mentoring of staff
  • Evaluation of staff and providing feedback on engagements and other projects.
  • Support management and operations team in various duties and assignments, such as scheduling, analysis of staffing needs, updating and establishing Firm standards and processes.
  • Assist management team with articles, presentations, seminars put on by the member of the Condominium Group
  • Attendance to selected ACMO & CCI events including the annual CCI/ACMO Condominium Conference
  • Other duties as assigned.
