POSITION SUMMARY:

  • We require an experienced senior business analyst, project manager and team lead with knowledge of the professional indemnity insurance domain along with data, reporting and analytics systems.
  • The successful candidate will help uplift and re-engineer their data and analytics environment and ensure a smooth transition to new core systems of Salesforce and Duck Creek. Due to the highly regulated environment of Medical Indemnity insurance the candidate should have demonstrated skills in data and process Governance.
  • It is imperative that the analyst has experience with designing, developing and delivering BI reports preferably within Power BI. The team lead will also have experience in requirements gathering and setting success criteria both at project level and individual deliverables.
  • If would be desirable that the candidate has exposure to AZURE, Fabric and Snowflake..

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, investigate, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices
  • Develop and evaluate recommendations to further optimise systems and business processors to meet organisational requirements
  • Develop & manage project plans including resourcing, deliverables and cost management
  • Take ownership of all documentation including requirements, design, implementation, operational and end user
  • Develop and implement quality assurance framework including testing (test plan), business signoff, reconciliation and remediation.
  • Be responsible for stakeholder management and communication and ensuring a centralise responsory of both technical and business information
  • Run regular governance meetings ensuring a robust and auditable decision-making process including tracking and management of those decisions
  • Implement ways of working with engineers using the Agile scrum methodology to ensure productive decision making and project development.
    Salary Range: >$100,000
