ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who has the passion and energy to drive the development of our social media channels and build community engagement across channels including website and email. Key skills & experience include:
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, Media. Minimum 5-6 years social media, marketing communications, ideally both on digital agency and corporate side
- Deep understanding of common social media platforms
- Strong content writing, curating and editing skills
- Experienced in managing a content publishing platform
- Deep understanding of Google Analytics, Data studio, Meta Business platform
- Experience developing reporting / analysis of social performance, channel performance and audience sentiment; understands how to translate performance into actionable insights

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a data-driven storyteller with a passion for unlocking social media insights? We’re looking for someone to lead our Social Media team, harnessing the power of data to elevate our brand and foster a creative community. If you thrive on turning insights into social strategies, then this role is for you!
As a member of the Sales and Support Group (SSG) Marketing Communications team, this role is responsible for development and delivery of cross-channel digital marketing strategies focused on driving consumer engagement & meeting business objectives. The role reports to Manager – Marketing Communications & has 1 direct reportee. It is a Macquarie Park based role with the flexibility of working from home.
MAIN DUTIES
- Leading the ANZ social media strategy in line with business goals
- Overseeing and track the performance of all social media accounts against KPIs and industry benchmarks
- Contribute to the development of the ANZ content strategy for social media (organic and paid), and owned channels (website and email) through insights
- Leading the strategy and delivery of Canon’s advocacy program (Canon Champions)
- Leading and mentoring the ANZ Community Manager
