MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Juris Doctorate degree with a minimum 3 years of legal practice in the healthcare industry.
  • Prior legal experience within healthcare industry, either in house or with a law firm.
  • At least one State Bar Admission and in good standing.
  • Substantial knowledge of health care fraud and abuse laws and regulations.Strong research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

This attorney will provide legal guidance and support to the Company on regulatory and compliance related matters, including, but not limited to federal and state fraud and abuse laws and other health care regulatory laws as such matters arise in the context of outpatient dialysis centers and related businesses. This position requires expertise in the healthcare regulatory laws, including the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Civil Monetary Penalties and Beneficiary Inducement laws and their implementing regulations. This attorney should have experience in providing regulatory guidance to health care entities; experience providing guidance related to revenue operations / revenue cycle management and/or expertise in Medicare Advantage regulations and final rule changes are an added bonus.
