QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar role that involves working with financial data, building models and financial analysis
- Compensation and job title commensurate with experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Proficient in MS Office suite, notably in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
GENERIC SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Strong attention to details
- Clear written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
As a Manager, Corporate Finance at SMRT Group, you will drive financial strategy and decision-making by overseeing detailed financial analyses, managing deal execution, and preparing insightful reports. This role requires a numerate, detail-oriented professional eager to learn and contribute, offering a key opportunity to impact on SMRT Group’s financial performance and strategic objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist different business units within the Group in developing business plans and financial models, including preparation for tender submissions
- Direct involvement in the end-to-end deal execution process (industry research and information collation, financial modelling, risk assessment, valuation, due diligence, structuring and closing)
- Active participation in discussions involving teams from the business units, corporate shared services (Legal, Finance, Tax), external partners and external consultants (if any)
- Prepare reports and financial presentations that communicate key insights of the transaction
- Review and comment on documents such as joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements, sale and purchase, service agreements, expression of interest and tender documentation
- Maintain organized records and documents related to financial models
- Assist in organizing and coordinating departmental lead events, including Management and Board retreats
