Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager of Social Media Communications is an experienced social media communications expert responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, driving engagement, and crafting compelling narratives to align, inspire, and engage PVH audiences across its social media platforms. This role will oversee the creation, execution, and management of social media content and campaigns that elevate the company’s brand, promote its values, and enhance its corporate reputation. Reporting to the VP of External Communications, this position will work closely with PVH’s executive, brand, regional, and functional teams to shape workplace culture and drive high performance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world and making PVH one of the highest-performing brand groups in its sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-8 years of experience in social media within a global role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in building and implementing content creation and innovative social media strategies across PVH platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X).
  • Deep understanding of how key social media platforms and their respective algorithms work.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts and translate them into simple, clear, and effective communications. Impeccable verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of best-in-class social media communications practices and proficiency with next-generation communications tools.
  • Ability to articulate and represent the voice of PVH and its leaders.
  • Proficiency in social media and digital tools such as self-filming, Canva, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Meltwater, etc.
  • Demonstrated learning mentality, critical thinking skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities; ability to see opportunities and possibilities in challenges.
  • Confidence working alongside senior executives in fast-paced, high-stakes situations; proven ability to successfully influence, facilitate, and partner with leaders at all levels.
  • Ability to roll up one’s sleeves and implement, with a track record of producing excellent results.
  • Hyper attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Successful at relationship building and collaborating across a highly matrixed global environment; willingness to work across different time zones to ensure strong alignment and seamless execution.
  • Strong business insight (experience in retail, apparel, and/or consumer industries a plus) with the ability to connect business goals and objectives with communications strategies for maximum impact.
  • Ability to tailor schedule to meet the needs of a global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Work closely with the VP of External Communications to build and launch next-generation social media communications strategies that connect PVH followers to the company, protect and enhance the corporate reputation, drive engagement, grow consumer loyalty, and support business objectives.
  • Content Creation: Create and implement engaging social media content (including text, images, videos, and graphics), narratives, and global messaging that align with PVH’s brand voice, inspire audiences, and drive engagement across all social media platforms.
  • Editorial Planning: Develop and maintain an editorial calendar and rhythm that enhances audience growth and engagement across PVH’s social media platforms, ensuring a steady stream of compelling content.
  • Collaboration and Amplification: Partner with the VP of External Communications and cross-functional brand, regional, and functional teams to amplify the voice of PVH and its leaders, ensuring clear and consistent storytelling across all key social media platforms.
  • Community Management: Monitor, engage, and establish relationships with followers on all social media platforms, fostering a positive and interactive online community.
  • Trend Analysis and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in social media, incorporating them into the strategy; research competitor activity on social media and use insights to inform the plan.
  • Performance Metrics: Analyze and establish performance metrics to measure social platform effectiveness, identify actionable insights, and adjust the strategy accordingly to improve results.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify relevant social media conversations and opportunities where PVH can play a significant role, demonstrating the brand’s presence to participate in significant discussions.
  • Cultural Promotion: Celebrate company culture and promote PVH values through social media communications; leverage content to support an inclusive work environment.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization through excellent written and verbal communication skills; translate complex challenges into simple and clear communications.
  • Entrepreneurial Approach: Leverage an entrepreneurial attitude and data-driven approach to continuously test, iterate, and evolve programming to achieve improved results over time.
