Description:

  • Experience managing a technical team
  • Experience in processing data with a massively parallel technology (such as Redshift, Teradata, Netezza, Spark or Hadoop based big data solution)
  • Experience in relational database technology (such as Redshift, Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL)
  • Experience in developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics (using ETL/ELT processes)
  • Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
  • Experience leading and influencing the data or BI strategy of your team or organization
  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of data engineers, provide career development and technical leadership
  • Design and execute on the vision for data engineering in the network planning space
  • Design, implement, and automate deployment of our distributed system for collecting and processing log events from multiple sources
  • Design data schema and operate internal data warehouses and SQL/NoSQL database systems
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines
  • Drive architectural plans and implementation for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions

We are owning the entire lifecycle of tech products from idea to production-use and deploy our tools on a worldwide basis. Our team is composed of a wide variety of tech roles including scientists, data engineers and business intelligence engineers.
