POLITICO is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Data to join the Global Data & Insights Team. As Manager, you will lead a team of talented data analysts, guiding them in harnessing data to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role is essential in ensuring that data informs every aspect of our business. You will collaborate across departments - including the sales, the newsroom, finance, and operations - to optimize performance and maximize the impact of our content.

• Analyze performance metrics, audience engagement, and content effectiveness, delivering strategic recommendations to optimize content strategy and advertising efforts.
• Establish and execute data strategies that align with business goals, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data across the organization.
• Manage a team of data professionals, providing mentorship, setting clear goals, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure continuous growth and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, marketing, and sales, to understand data needs and provide actionable insights that support the company’s media objectives.
• Oversee data collection methodologies and analytics processes, implementing best practices to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
