POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Detail Shop Manager will oversee all aspects of our wash bay operations, ensuring that vehicles are cleaned and prepared to meet our dealership’s high standards. This role involves managing a team of wash bay attendants, maintaining equipment, and working closely with other departments to support dealership operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of Experience in detail shop management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations of the detail section.
  • Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized wash bay environment, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
  • Assist in developing procedures to ensure production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Budget and Track inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Collaborate with service, and sales departments to support vehicle preparation for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental (OSHA and Safety) regulations. related to water usage and cleaning chemicals.
  • Washes and conditions vehicle exterior, including tires, wheels, under-carriage, and under-hood components and waxing/buffing
