MANAGER, DEVELOPMENT - SUNRISE CLINICALS

Remote U.S. Role
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Development to lead and inspire the software development team as they create innovative solutions for our Sunrise clinical solution set. Sunrise™ | Altera Digital Health (alterahealth.com)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant software development experience, with 1-3 years in a formal or informal leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, etc.).
  • Experience with .net development, C#, Angular, SQL Server, or similar technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing development teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a virtual team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and Manage Development Teams: Oversee one or more teams of software development professionals, ensuring they have the resources and support to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. This includes resource allocation, performance management, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Technical Expertise & Leadership: Bring a strong software development background with a solid understanding of modern development methodologies (Agile, etc.) and familiarity with technologies like C#, Angular, and SQL Server. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding and advising your team on technical challenges and best practices.
  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Partner with product managers. business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project scope, establish clear objectives and timelines, and ensure project deliverables meet business needs. You will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Be an excellent communicator who can effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear and consistent communication across all levels.
