Manager Digital Analytics - Consumer Insights
General Purpose
With an ever-evolving digital consumer landscape, we are looking for an innovative data enthusiast to join the EU Analytics team, where you can be at the center of driving valuable business decisions. As a Manager Digital Analytics, you will be part of the EU Consumer Insights team that analyses consumer behavior within the digital adidas ecosystem. In this role and with the help of our consumer database, your focus will be on driving innovative insights related to the various ways in which we communicate with our consumers and how this contributes to consumer engagement, loyalty, and ultimately sales.
You will be constantly curious, always asking the right questions, whilst having a passion for data. Your visualization & storytelling skills are what is getting stakeholders to act on your recommendations. Finally, you are consumer-obsessed & look for ways to experiment, test and measure day in day out. The main topics you will be involved in are shaping improvements and analyzing consumer lifecycle performance, as well as profiling our known consumers and identifying challenges & opportunities with key strategic consumer cohorts.
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to dive deep into the Consumer Sciences database to gather insights on the impact of our membership program & communications on consumer engagement, loyalty, and sales. Tasks may include:

  • Dive deep into the Consumer Sciences database to gather insights on the impact of membership program & communications on consumer engagement, loyalty, and sales.
  • Create solutions and insights for planned projects, ad hoc and recurring requests using SQL or Python and any other tools of your choice.
  • Align with key business stakeholders to ensure and enable completion of projects.
  • Be part of defining and developing the KPI Frameworks for Consumer Profiling & Consumer Lifecycle.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical needs and vice versa.
  • Support the Consumer Engagement, Membership and eCom Trading teams in setting up performance measurements using digital analytics.
  • Translate gathered insights into engaging, actionable and easy-to-understand insights, presentations, and visualizations.
  • Build trust with stakeholders in your scope of responsibility to facilitate actionability of insights.
  • Help establish a fact-based culture in the organization by continuously improving data-driven decision processes.
  • Explore newly available datasets to serve consumer insights use cases as the organization continues its data democratization journey.
  • Build an internal network to increase knowledge of the digital ecosystem, and Digital Analytics in particular.
  • Share insights across Market & Global Analytics teams worldwide via the Center of Excellence operating model and challenge stakeholders and the analytics team to adopt the latest available tools & insights for optimal decision making.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A love for sports and a passion for the brand
  • A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • Excellent presentation skills and storytelling
  • Previous experience in working with SQL

In addition, we will value very positively that you have:

  • Experience with visualization techniques and data analysis tool(s) is a plus, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy Dossier
  • Previous experience with Python is a plus, specifically NLP, sentiment & statistical analysis
  • Basic Experience with ETL tools and automation techniques is a plus, e.g., Alteryx
  • Basic Experience with web experience and marketing analytics tools is a plus, e.g., Adobe Analytics, GA

Education & Professional Experience

  • University degree in the field of Analytics, Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Analytics
  • Experience with digital marketing in a brand environment
  • Experience in eCommerce environment

Responsibilities:
