About the Role
Teranet is currently looking for a Manager, Social & Digital Marketing for a 1 year Fixed Term contract to cover a maternity leave. You will lead the digital and social media strategy for the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and optimizing all digital channels for the Teranet brand in order to support revenue growth opportunities across the organization. You will act as the main liaison between risk, legal, compliance, privacy and security for all our digital platforms. You will optimize and modernize the corporate website including French (Teranet.ca), modernize all Product websites including French (purview.ca, geowarehouse.ca, thenewrealm.ca). You will develop all social media platforms strategies in order to maximize customer engagement and support all lead generation strategies with technical best practices. Lastly, you will provide digital and social media guidance and support to internal shared services teams who require digital platforms or brand support to execute their strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing

Digital Platform Management

  • Work with internal stakeholders and partners to determine needs and capabilities of website redesign and ongoing management. Includes but not limited to: lead generation capabilities; CRM and measurement capabilities and Teranet brand reputation management.
  • Lead and project manage the modernization of all Teranet websites
  • Oversee all architecture and backend requirements by working closely with our vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage ongoing website updates, analytics, SEO & inbound traffic generation, and other development efforts to strengthen our web presence.
  • Perform testing and troubleshoot issues as needed to seek out effective resolutions.
  • Continuously look for ways to enhance our website through new value added functionality, analytics capabilities, or integrations over and above existing capabilities.
  • Solid understanding & execution of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices and strategies
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network & digital presence
  • Working with the Marketing Managers and Shared Services Partners to maintain the editorial calendar and regularly update and maintain the corporate blog and product blogs, as part of the digital strategy
  • Manage an external website Managed Service Provider to ensure the infrastructure and security of Teranet’s marketing websites are performing without security risks.

Social Media & Digital Strategy and Execution

  • Assess current social media presence and provide strategic recommendations based on industry best practices for B2B organizations that will improve overall customer engagement
  • Develop, implement and manage our organic and paid social media strategy for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram and create a regular publishing schedule
  • Define most important organic social media KPIs
  • Create, manage and oversee social media content creation including cross-collaboration with other influencers online, and other innovative approaches Monitor and optimize awareness, consideration and conversion campaign performance by tracking KPI and reports
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels) including writing content and developing social media graphics with the Sr. Graphic Designer
  • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
  • Manage all video hosting platforms including Vimeo and YouTube
  • Manage Teranet’s Google Business page including updating when required and monitor for reviews

Corporate Communications and Promotional Support

  • Work closely with Product Marketing Managers and to promote all press releases and strategic initiatives on appropriate social media platforms
  • Support Talent Management team within HR with social media and platform support as required for retention, employee engagement and employee recruitment for Teranet Inc. and Trivandrum, India.
  • Develop the overall content strategy to support the Teranet brand (Fraud Awareness, Cyber Security, Top Employers, New Acquisitions, etc.) and work closely with the Director to build into overall editorial calendar
  • Manage our corporate PR tool and all internal newsfeed newsletters which report on market, customer and competitive intelligence

Reporting and Analytics

  • Oversee social media analytics, reviewing industry trends and campaigns and develop recommendations to inform program development and business planning initiatives
  • Oversee digital marketing analytics through Google Analytics, Search Engine Console, HubSpot and Google Tag Manager. Regularly check to ensure the analytics tags are correctly operating on each Teranet website.
  • Actively listen and engage in relevant social discussion about Teranet, our competitors, and the overall industry
  • Work with internal teams, including legal, to develop and implement tools to facilitate campaign creation and execution
  • Oversee social media analytics including campaign KPIs, review industry trends
  • Develop recommendations to inform program development and business planning initiatives

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Understand requirements and monitor overall compliance to all online policies, procedures, and brand guidelines for any/all Teranet online properties identifying areas of concern to be actioned or escalating as needed
  • Provide quarterly reporting to leadership team on customer engagement metrics and ROI for Marketing activities
  • Work with internal corporate communications leadership to manage and update social media and digital policies for employees

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Advanced social media platform knowledge and experience with at least 5 years’ experience working with technical programs like Hootsuite, and Sprout Social
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital media/marketing role with proven experience with display and social: familiarity with programmatic display, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other platforms
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing web-sites, web applications with proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics and SEO/SEM best practices
  • Experience with website architecture, SEO, PPC and devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.
  • Proven ability to provide tracking conversion rates and make improvements to the website base on key performance metrics.
  • Experience with improving the usability, design, content and conversion of websites.
  • Experience with digitized, inbound marketing based content.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Adwords.
  • Deep understanding of digital, mobile and social media realm, marketing automation, best practices and new Martech applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, content management systems (CMS), and CRM software such as Salesforce
  • Experience with Marketing Automation Software (Marketo, HubSpot, ACTon, etc.)
  • Experience managing people and demonstrating leadership, problem solving and creative-thinking abilities
  • Superior project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and agendas
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills along with the ability to present valuable insights.
