Description:

Overview:
At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.
The Digital Learning Centre of Excellence has a mandate to enable the firmwide strategic learning objectives through a robust learning technology ecosystem and the delivery of solutions to meet cross-functional learning and performance needs.
The Manager, Digital Learning Operations will advance the operational and strategic portfolios that are central to the team’s value proposition by: maintaining a portfolio of L&D business-directed initiatives aligned to priority areas; delivering on end-to-end project management to enhance operations; and advancing the function’s reporting on the impact of L&D initiatives.
The Manager will work closely with the Director, collaboratively across the central Digital Learning team, as well as with functional, program, and geographic learning leads.

What you will do:

  • Contribute actively to advancing current and emerging strategic learning initiatives, programs, and processes, including:
  • Leading and contributing to learning lifecycle activities (e.g. needs consulting, solution research, technology evaluation, resource/asset design and development) for selected business-aligned initiatives through a hands-on, exploratory approach.
  • Being accountable for the successful delivery of the firm’s cross-functional accreditation awards program by actively collaborating with the governance committee, and serving as the first point of management, escalation and issue resolution for the program coordinator.
  • Monitoring and updating the relevant firmwide Learning policies under the purview of the Learning CoE.
  • Drive a high-quality standard of service delivery and operations through end-to-end project management spanning the COE’s portfolio including:

    • Creating annually, and maintaining monthly, the Digital Learning service delivery tracker, tracking goals, success criteria, deliverables, priority, progress, timing, leads and collaborators.
  • For all Digital Learning initiatives without dedicated project/program management, oversee and enable project lifecycle activities (e.g. resource planning, adherence to timelines, etc.).
  • In collaboration with portfolio leads and the learning coordinator, enable operational efficiency as single-point-of-contact for annual and quarterly asset management / maintenance processes.
  • Advance accountability, awareness, and impact, through impact measurement across the Digital Learning portfolio, including:
  • Creating, maintaining and sharing data-driven reports, by drawing on complementary data sources (engagement data, evaluation metrics, and learner success profiles) in partnership with portfolio leads.
  • In collaboration with the Learning Technology Manager, enable the advancement of the learning data initiative, ensuring best practices for outputs, maintenance, and stakeholder engagement.

What you bring to this role:

  • 5 years’ experience in a learning & development function, working on multi-stakeholder internal engagements, and ideally in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning & development and its impact on individual and organizational growth
  • Experience with project management involving multiple stakeholders and complex deliverables
  • Experience in process design and development, specifically for program and service delivery
  • Experience in collaborating and consulting with internal stakeholders (at a variety of senioirity levels) and subject matter experts, include issue resolution;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the patience to listen and learn
  • Experience with the Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365, Teams, Lists, and Co-pilot) a strong asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, and
  • Project management training, certification or equivalent professional experience is a strong asset.
  • Certification/accreditation from a Professional Learning Organization or recognized Adult Learning Post-secondary Program is a valuable asset.
