Elevate imec’s Digital Presence: Inspire and coach our Digital Marketing & Communications Team!
What you will do
We are looking for a manager digital marketing and communications to join our communications department. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the digital communications strategy, for imec’s websites, social media, newsletters, and marketing automation. You will also manage the digital team and ensure alignment and efficient collaboration with the different teams within the communications department, such as the corporate communication, science communication, marketing communication and events team.

More in detail, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and execute the digital communications strategy for imec worldwide, in line with the corporate communications and marketing strategy and objectives.
  • Manage the digital communications team to ensure the (talent) development and performance management of the team. Organize and follow-up work distribution within the team to ensure efficient and effective operation and manage typical people manager tasks such as chairing team meetings, organizing talent reviews, one-on-one conversations, coordinate content-related tasks etc.
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and reporting of all digital activities.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of all digital communications across different channels and platforms. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Optimize the user experience and conversion of the imec websites, using web analytics, SEO, and UX best practices.
  • Manage and grow the social media presence and engagement of imec, using social media management tools and analytics.
  • Optimize the newsletter strategy and the effective use of marketing automation and CRM systems in close collaboration with the marketing communications team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of the digital communications, using KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in digital marketing and communications, and propose new ideas and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as colleagues from the different communications teams, ICT, and business development.

Who you are

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing communications, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing and communications, in a B2B or technology environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge in web development, web design, web analytics, SEO, UX, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the digital team.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Eager to learn about imec’s vision, strategy, R&D and business, and to translate this into the right digital communications strategy.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
