Title: Manager, Digital Marketing
Reports to: Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Strategy
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years experience in digital marketing and communications either within an in-house or agency environment;
  • University degree or college diploma in marketing, advertising, communications or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • Experienced in setting digital communications strategy and bringing it to life through in-house and external agency/vendor resources;
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, including content creation, SEO, and KPI tracking for data-driven recommendations;
  • Proficient in using social media platforms for acquisitions and driving conversions;
  • Comfortable developing and implementing e-mail campaigns and managing a website;
  • Skilled in leveraging publicity for fundraising success and promoting fundraising events;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to inspire commitment and action in others;
  • Knowledge of design applications (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva), content management systems (preferably Kentico and Raisin), HTML, social media platforms and tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, YouTube), and email marketing services (preferably Constant Contact);
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and strategic thinking ability, with creative problem solving;
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, including handling multiple, concurrent and diverse tasks;
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, rapport-building people person with skill in building and sustaining relationships;
  • Ability to work independently, and on a team, and successfully meet goals and objectives;
  • Strategic and innovative leader but also willing to get hands dirty when needed;
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage an effective digital marketing team aligned to the achievement of the organization’s business and strategic plans;
  • Manage workflow and assign and oversee tasks to deliver impactful digital marketing materials and campaigns;
  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns (including social media, email marketing and digital advertising) that maximize audience engagement and drive conversions;
  • Work closely with teams across the organization to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that contribute to achieving organizational and team objectives;
  • Build and oversee a content calendar and engage different influencers to work with;
  • Understand the organization’s mission and community to make marketing recommendations that build and deepen relationships and awareness of the organization and Crohn’s and colitis;
  • Identify and test new digital channels and tools;
  • Continuously monitor content performance and marketing trends to create impactful and engaging digital marketing materials that drive conversions; and
  • Seek opportunities to promote teamwork and to celebrate accomplishments.
