Are you a strategic storyteller, connecting people with products through compelling content? BMO’s award-winning payment platform, Online Banking for Business, has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Digital Product Marketing to join its team.
The ideal candidate understands this job is more than just words and pictures. It’s about creating compelling experiences that drive brand awareness and audience engagement. This includes, but is not limited to, writing in a variety of different formats (such as digital ads, email campaigns, video scripts, etc.) and managing campaigns across multiple channels.
The successful candidate will work closely with a talented group of content strategists, designers, video producers, etc. This role is based in Toronto and reports to the Sr, Manager, Digital Product Marketing.
SKILLS
- 5+ years of professional writing experience in a marketing, communications, or editorial role with a demonstrated understanding of B2B.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills including impeccable knowledge of grammar (spelling, punctuation, and usage).
- Proven success creating and executing marketing campaigns, using tactics that include digital, email, web, SEO/SEM, and social media.
- Proficiency using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiar with social media advertising and paid campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn Ads)
- Effective problem solver who’s strategic and analytical.
- Proven track record of setting and achieving measurable metrics.
- Strong multi-tasker with ability to prioritize and ensure a consistent level of quality output.
- Must be able to work cross-collaboratively and gather information from various stakeholders.
- Must be flexible and willing to take feedback.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and not be afraid to ask questions.
- Bilingualism is not mandatory but is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, with focus on social media and email marketing.
- Create and produce impactful content in various formats. This includes, but is not limited to, email campaigns, social media posts, digital ads, video scripts, web copy, leader messaging, etc.
- Define campaign goals, audience, message, and channels.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and use data and insights to adjust and optimize campaigns.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed of all marketing activities and materials and ensure product positioning is consistent across all customer touchpoints.
- Manage a high volume of tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Build relationships with BMO’s internal marketing teams, content strategists, and product managers.
