Job Summary
The Manager, Enforcement within the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) division leads a team responsible for investigating regulatory breaches and taking enforcement action to prevent, address and deter non-compliance. This is a great opportunity to develop the enforcement strategy for the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the broader government and the VEU program to enhance the commission’s profile and promote the activities of the division.
  • Adopt a strategic approach to the evolving use of enforcement tools, contribute to future reforms including the upcoming strategic review.
  • Assist other managers across teams within the VEU division transition from program administrator to program administrator and regulator.
    Position details

THE MANAGER ENFORCEMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Managing the enforcement functions of the VEU Division to improve compliance and deter non-compliance.
  • Leading a team of four staff members. fostering effective teamwork and supporting and developing staff capabilities.
  • Maintaining program integrity through the effective use of various enforcement options, including penalty notices, enforceable undertakings, and civil penalty litigation.
