OUR CLIENT IS A MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY. DUE TO THEIR CURRENT EXPANSION PLAN, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR MANAGER (ENGINEERING) TO JOIN THEIR TEAM, IN HOPES OF DEVELOPING THE CURRENT HIGH PERFORMING TEAM. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST.

Responsibility

• Supervise employees in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and handling disciplinary actions.
• Identify, review, and manage environmental and safety risks to ensure a safe workplace.
• Approve environmental aspects, risk assessments, and safe work procedures when risks are acceptable.
• Report all occupational accidents and incidents immediately, and support investigations with the EHS Committee Management Representative.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies; monitor EHS objectives and metrics; and close corrective actions effectively.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of employees under their supervision.
• Support both internal and external EHS audits.
• Lead and develop the Engineering Team to meet the demands of the Medical Device Industry, fostering a data-driven, innovative, and effective problem-solving culture.
• Drive sustainable and methodical improvements in equipment and facility performance.
• Oversee a variety of engineering projects and manage safety systems and processes.
• Ensure the effective execution of engineering tasks to achieve yield, NPI, cycle time, and efficiency targets.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles across the plant.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

• Min Degree in Engineering
• Min 3 years of experience in balloon catheter manufacturing
• Knowledge in FMEA, DOE, SPC or other statistical tools
• Sounded knowledge in ISO 9001/EN 46001, ISO13485 and GMP
• Certified Six Sigma Green / Black Belt will be added bonus
