KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Rolling a significant role in leading Technology Governance processes such as the Corporate Architecture Review Team to ensure that selected technologies and designs are aligned with the client’s plans and EA standards.
Leads supplier selection, RfP tendering, and procurement of Enterprise Architecture consultancy engagements. Oversees and measures the fulfillment of suppliers’ contractual obligations during development stages. Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and challenge supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintains a catalog of Enterprise Architecture services and ensures that service delivery meets agreed service levels. Diagnoses service delivery problems and initiates actions to maintain or improve levels of service.
Carries out risk assessment within the technology enterprise architecture, uses consistent processes for identifying potential risk events, quantifying and documenting the probability of occurrence and the impact on the client, and coordinates the development of countermeasures and contingency plans.
Develops plans for review of technology systems and the use of standards and the effectiveness of technology process controls and recommends improvements.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of strategy, enterprise architecture, and project management standards and practices, and provides expert advice regarding their application. Supervises strategy, enterprise architecture, and project governance specialists, analysts, and consultancy services.
Responsible for developing enterprise architecture vision in coordination with all technology departments in the client’s organization, in line with the digital strategy and governmental directions.
Manages creation and review procedures of enterprise architecture baseline and target to meet strategic directions. In addition, improves the development process of the enterprise architecture on an organizational level to ensure strategic alignment, especially during technology changes to best suit technology governance and enterprise architecture best practices.
Ensures maintaining technology governance principles and standards in order to enhance the benefits needed from these standards.
Responsible for establishing and developing an enterprise architecture repository for systems and applications in coordination with agencies and sectors.
Supports the development of digital strategy that supports business needs and provides solutions that meet digital strategy targets within acceptable cost and time, reflecting the digital direction into a clear technology roadmap with positive impact.
Manages Technology Innovation through future foresight and identifies potential technologies for implementation.
Occupies an active role in improving the interface between the business and technology by conducting analysis of demand for services and influencing stakeholders to ensure necessary investments are made to deliver required services.
Determines policy on discovery, analysis, and documentation of requirements and manages developing business cases, ensuring compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and technology directions. Works with architects to collect and/or develop high-level solution approaches, develop technology cost estimates, and refine business cases when necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum 7 years of experience as a senior enterprise architect or in a key role in an enterprise architecture function.
