YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role in industry or consultancy/ auditing firm
  • Project management experience, particularly in environmental data management, with an understanding of ESG reporting requirements (e.g., CSRD)
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with excellent organizational skills and effective communication at all levels within the organization
  • Fluency in English required. German language skills and further languages are an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control environmental data for all Henkel locations worldwide. You will focus on selected KPIs such as energy, scope 1 and 2 emissions, water usage, or waste management
  • Act as the global key contact for environmental data management, accounting methodology inquiries, and both internal/ external expertise requests
  • Play a pivotal role in the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for selected workstreams, including the development and optimization of internal processes, reporting standards and implementation into tools
  • Develop new requirements and continuously improve existing Henkel group-wide standards in environmental data management in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP): accounting, process documentation, and internal controls
  • Ensure sound internal and external reporting, including coordination with external audits and participation in stakeholder dialogues for assurance purposes
