Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Four Seasons global environmental sustainability efforts, including the company’s strategies for addressing climate change and reducing energy, water, and waste.
  • Oversee global carbon accounting and annual greenhouse gas inventory, ensuring adherence with industry standards and ability to meet both regulatory and voluntary reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide subject matter expertise to progress environmental-focused Four Seasons for Good initiatives, including efforts around reducing food waste, responsible sourcing, and integrating sustainability into the built environment.
  • Collaborate with ESG Analyst to develop metrics and KPIs to track progress towards sustainability targets, and prepare reporting on performance for senior management, the Board, and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly assess the organization’s environmental sustainability performance against industry peers and best practices, while also monitoring legislation, regulations, and industry trends related to climate and environment.
  • Represent the ESG Team in internal conferences and external working groups focused on climate and sustainability.
  • Establish partnerships with environmental NGOs and other organizations, to further progress Four Seasons environmental efforts.
