Description:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma/GED Completion
5-7 years of experience in the solids control industry
Secondary education in trades with applicable tickets is preferred
Strong mechanical background and aptitud
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the maintenance staff, ensuring that all requisite tasks are handled quickly and efficiently within budget restraints
- Set and maintain the standard of Safety Excellence by working with front line workers, management and the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) department to ensure Precision continues as a leader in safety (“Target Zero”). Ensure active participation in the Precision Observation, Hazard I.D., and Incident Reporting
- Travel around the province when needed
- Perform various types of repairs including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Communicate effectively with employees, engineers, vendors and third-party contractors
- Fully understand the company processes, systems and equipment fleet
- Control and track asset inventory, as well as maintaining adequate parts and tools while maintaining cost-effective operations
- Coordinate and oversee shop repairs specific to solids control, including working with PR shop foreman(s) on a daily/weekly basis
- Ensure equipment is repaired and rebuilt to company standards, as well as ensure all equipment records are completed and maintained
- Use the electronic tracking system to create and confirm equipment coming in and out of various worksites
- Update and maintain information in Precision’s records systems and department databases
- Work closely with accounts payable, prepare monthly reports and budgeting
- Create and maintain budgets, costs, and reviews for work order
