Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of consultants, developers, and other technical staff.
- Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing and selecting candidates, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Understanding business and market needs, current and future activity, and assessing forecast and pipeline. Ensures customer success through understanding upcoming demand and future needs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create improvement plans by applying and monitoring people initiatives like RR&Es, 360s, talent and performance reviews etc. Proactively track, monitor and performance manage utilization rates of consultants, reviewing scheduling versus actual to understand any variations.
- Identify training needs and professional development opportunities for team members, provide resources or opportunities for skill enhancement in collaboration with Enablement, Skills Transformation, Industry Leads.
- Address and resolve conflicts or issues within the team promptly and effectively.
- Manage and engage as primary point of contact with different stakeholders like Practice and Delivery Management, Project and Resource Management, maintaining regular communication to understand their needs and address any concerns as well as to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify inefficiencies within the team or projects and implement process improvements.
- Ensure the team effectively uses project management and collaboration tools.
- Contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the consulting team and align team goals with Infor’s strategic objectives.
- Promote and exemplify the company’s core values, culture and strategy within the team.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to propose new ideas and solutions.
- Organize team-building activities and events to strengthen team cohesion and morale
