Key Responsibilities

  • Managing financial performance for key business line within Personal Financial Services division: Cards and Personal Loan (CCPL) team.
  • Responsible in building financial modelling and profitability projections for unsecured lending initiatives while CPPL team revives and transforms the credit card and personal loan business. This also covers CCPL & financial performance at portfolio level to ensure that CPPL business drivers are aligned to overall business objectives
  • Managing financial performance for Payments, Partnerships and Fintech Ecosystems (PPFE) team, which covers multiple payment capabilities for banking transactions.
  • Close engagement with business to identify and validate opportunities from acquiring and payments that will drive incremental growth bankwide, developing and driving the Payment Innovation business strategy that can cut across the product lines, channels and geographies.
  • Facilitating the formulation and preparation of the annual budget as well as the periodical projections / forecast for Quarterly Strategic Business Management meetings.
  • Prepare quarterly management report for quarterly results announcement.
  • Provide support for adhoc reporting requirements from business (Rating Agencies, ALCO, BNM and Investors, etc) and management meetings
  • Ensure compliance with the Group Finance procedures, Group Accounting Policy and accounting standards

Education & Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree with 2 nd Upper achievement or higher from Banking & Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience financial and managment accounting, financial forecast modeling, business, compliance and risk controls .
  • Sound knowledge of consumer banking products, relevant banking regulations and accounting standards.
