WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of deep and broad finance (audit) experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expert-level knowledge in IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
• Strong background in financial planning and analysis with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in FICO systems and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated skills in people management and team development, with a focus on coaching and motivating talent.
• Proven ability to manage compliance with internal and external financial regulations and policies.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Initiate, plan, and coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process to support decision-making and monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices.
• Manage, coach, and develop the financial control team, ensuring a motivated and capable workforce aligned with Mammoet’s values and objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring efficient and compliant operations in areas such as financial control, G/L accounting, and project controlling across numerous entities and countries.
• Develop, manage, and ensure the realization of the finance department’s annual budget and strategic plans, collaborating closely with senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial guidelines and internal and external regulations.
• Coordinate and lead external audits.
• Prepare and review regular financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
• Manage and maintain administrative systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness across all finance functions. Play a key role in the ERP transition.
