By Joining Our Financial Planning and Analysis Team
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis who will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and ad hoc reporting. In addition, you will drive key business decisions and insights, conduct ongoing performance trend analysis and provide recommendations to support business partner decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborating with business unit leaders, executives, and the financial teams to analyze financial and operational data, provide meaningful insights on trends in the business, and ultimately inform and enhance decision making across the organization.
Assisting in the business planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles through partnering with members of the senior management team.
Preparing management reports, variance analysis, trend analysis and financial insight information for the senior management team.
Investigating to recognize variances and ensure business partners understand the story behind the variances.
Supporting key priority initiative reporting including KPIs as well as ensuring alignment of initiatives with overall strategy.
Who You Are:
A university graduate with a degree in business. Successful completion of an MBA is an asset.
A dynamic and well-rounded CPA and a member in good standing with CPA plus excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, able to work well under pressure, while meeting time-sensitive and competing deadlines.
A practiced financial planning and analysis professional with a minimum of 7 years progressive and relevant expertise and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of people leadership.
Digitally fluent in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Excel are required.
A strong personable relationship builder and communicator with excellent presentation skills.
A demonstrated critical thinker and collaborator with strong judgment, and problem-solving skills combined with a high degree of attention to accuracy and detail.
A proactive, self-starter with positive energy and a drive for continuous improvement.
