Description:

Overview:
Seeking a diligent, highly organized, result-oriented Manager - Financial Reporting to join our growing Finance team at G42.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a team leader of the Financial reporting team.
  • Guide the development and implementation of a robust financial & management system and reporting process to facilitate management decision making in accordance to accounting standards & regulations.
  • Manage the monthly and year-end closing process, prepare and provide the quarterly and year-end financial statements to management as required.
  • Ensure that management reports are prepared on time, accurately and adequately convey the required information to facilitate management review.
  • Ensure providing internal and external stakeholders with timely and accurate financial reports and analyses that support management in decision-making.
  • Ensure enhancing and automating the financial and management reporting process by implementing industry best practices.
  • Assist in preparation of management reports/presentation to be provided to Company’s executives, shareholders, and the Board.
  • Ensure that the Group’s periodic consolidated financial statements comply with requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
  • Coordinate with finance business partners and Corporate HQ teams to review Division wise financial results on a monthly basis, analyse the numbers reported. Review of monthly balance sheet Ensure that revenue recognition is made in accordance with IFRSs.
  • Coordinate with Group’s subsidiaries for monthly review of the reported financial results.
  • Providing technical accounting support to Core Finance team and BUs within the
  • Preparation of accounting papers for the critical accounting matters. Coordination with auditors to discuss and agree the appropriate accounting.
  • Liaising with external auditors for the audit of the consolidated and standalone financial statements including technical accounting matters.
  • Assist in establishing financial performance measures (financial KPIs) to determine and evaluate the Group’s financial performance and monitor progress.
  • Manage, guide and mentor any team members reporting into him/ her, identify potential talent amongst team members and provide timely support to them for learning and professional development.
  • Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the team by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximize performance.
  • Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned section to foster a value driven culture within the organisation.
