About the Position
Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the financial reporting manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Oversee quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and working papers.
- Review monthly financial processes including reconciliations, consolidation/elimination entries, payables, and distributions.
- Research and prepare accounting memos for complex issues.
- Lead year-end audits and reporting, serving as the main contact for auditors and partners.
- Coordinate corporate transactions, compliance, and entity management with stakeholders and legal counsel.
- Review corporate tax returns and work in collaboration with external tax accountants.
- Supervise and mentor senior accountants.
- Ad hoc duties as needed.
The Requirements
- Designated CPA
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 2+ years of management experience
- Real estate experience is an asset.
- Public practice experience is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 to $130,000
- 3 weeks’ vacation
