Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, you will manage the financial reporting team and be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while driving process improvements and scalability. Collaborating with the CFO, CAO, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure efficient finance operations and scalable processes that support Vidyard’s growth. You will also have the opportunity to enhance financial transparency and shape the company’s financial infrastructure to positively impact Vidyard’s growth and long-term success.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THIS ROLE AND YOUR NEW TEAM

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant professional certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles, with demonstrated experience in team management.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and ability to review financial information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (Sage/Intacct, Zuora, STripe and Salesforce preferred) as well as MS Office Suite and Google Docs.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
