Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a real impact? Join Associated Electric as the Manager of Gas Plant Operations and oversee the long-term operation of our gas generating assets. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency across multiple plant locations, while driving performance and leading a talented team of supervisors, O&M coordinators, and technicians.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and inspire a team to maintain high standards in safety, reliability, and performance
- Manage operations, maintenance, budgets, and resources for our simple cycle power plants
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and NERC regulations
- Collaborate across departments to set goals and maintain plant availability and reliability
- Be a key decision-maker, driving improvements and managing plant operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s in electrical/mechanical engineering or 8+ years of experience with combustion turbines
- At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience
- Strong technical knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance
- Exceptional project management and communication skills
