Cloud Operations provides support / expertise in One Platform to member firms and global functions and for globally managed services. Support at Tier 2 & 3 is available as well as enhanced support options for departments that need them.
Operational Support areas are grouped in three Chapters:
- Cloud Enterprise: Azure services, Core Infrastructure and Security.
- Digital Workplace: Identity Management, M365, Messaging, Chat, Voice and Collaboration.
- Secure Connectivity: Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, SD-WAN, Squid & ISAM Proxies, Infoblox, Network Micro segmentation and Terraform.
The role is focused on operational and related technical support for the designated product(s) and/or cloud solutions/services and the accompanying deployment and adoption process. The role represents the team and acts as lead in operational issues across countries / globally in the own area of expertise. The role is also responsible for monitoring, maintaining and continuously improving the operational steady-state of the underlying services.
The role creates and implements solutions in products and/or platforms. Leads migrations of KPMG and KPMG customer applications from private hosted infrastructure to cloud or hybrid solutions. The role will lead several and diverse engineer team(s) in mostly global projects ensuring delivery of applications and/or service components with highest levels of availability, performance, and security. #LI-Hybrid
What you will do:
- Providing support of the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter (Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, SD-WAN, Squid & ISAM Proxies, Infoblox, Network Micro segmentation and Terraform) including regular on-call support at the weekends during the normal working hours for the region using a follow-the-sun handover process between regions
- Identify & implement continual improvements to the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter (Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, SD-WAN, Squid & ISAM Proxies, Infoblox, Network Micro segmentation and Terraform)
- Accountable for ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices by colleagues in the tier 2 support teams, improving operational stability as a result.
- Responsible for technical expertise in any projects they are assigned to, with a particular focus on ensuring any product delivered by a project is reliable and supportable by the Chapter.
- Accountable for assessing our vendors / suppliers continually for their suitability in providing services pertaining to the Chapter’s responsibilities.
What you bring to this role:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science, engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT work experience, with at least 3 years’ experience working in complex network environments
- Over 3 years experience implementing and supporting firewall solutions within medium to large, complex organizations. (Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, SD-WAN, Squid & ISAM Proxies, Infoblox, Network Micro segmentation and Terraform)
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Networking (Application Gateway, WAF, Private Link, NAT Gateway, etc)Strong understanding of Palo Alto Networks security technologies including Wildfire, AV/Threat Prevention, URL filtering, User-ID and Panorama.
- Firewall and network management qualifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCSE, or FNSE (or equivalent skill level).
- Flexibility to work varying hours as required by the business
