Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

In 2022, JET set up the global Sales Strategy & Operations (SSO) department which is a high-performance team chartered with developing the most effective sales organisation in the tech industry, by providing focus, process, tooling, insights & skills at global scale.
This highly experienced Manager Sales Strategy role will be part of the Global Sales Strategy team (7 FTE incl. this role). The primary focus wi be on analysing the different sales products/services that JET offers, define the sales channel strategy and our partner segmentation approach. In addition, the Global Sales Strategy team drives the SSO planning cadence, incl. facilitating KPI setting, monitoring of sales performance and facilitating regular business updates for leadership.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE KEY INGREDIENTS TO THE ROLE:

  • Be a key business partner for the global & local sales leadership team and prioritise key initiatives to drive sales performance;
  • Own the strategic planning process, incl. working with global sales leadership and 19 markets to establish sales targets;
  • Independently own a portfolio of sales strategic business programs end2end: from scoping, through development & successful execution. Examples of the Global Sales Strategy scope include (not exhaustive);
  • Define a sales product & service strategy where we prioritise the right products & services to ensure partners are successfully set-up on our platform;
  • Analyse our sales channel strategy and advise on which activities can be best placed where;
  • Defining a sales playbook to acquire and lock-in our most critical partners in key cities;
  • Build executive storylines / presentations for leadership to update on Sales progress (e.g. SSO QBR, Sales MT, Management board);
  • Lead and coach a virtual program team of individual contributors in a dynamic and ambiguous matrix organisation;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, incl. Sales (local & global), Marketing, Product, Logistics, Finance, Customer Services etc.
