Job Description

• This position provides leadership and administration to the overall LA Environment & Sustainability program by developing plans for implementing the 3-yr regional strategy, achieving consensus and buy-in from Region Leadership team against the plan, and actively driving the implementation of and monitoring progress against the plan and corresponding objectives.
• To ensure alignment with global, regional & BUs strategy and targets as well as to coordinate the support for the plan in a timely manner.
• The role will also mentor and support the BU and HSE Managers in the Region.
• Contribute to HSE cultural transformation in commercial areas (CS&L/Sales).
• Sets standards for performance and continuous improvement aiming LA Region Sustainability excellence.
• Provides Commercial Safety expertise and recommendations to functions.
• Be able to assess organizational risk and align the issuance of programs, control measures and training to mitigate risks
• Supports prioritization of capex spending for HSE improvement and compliance projects
