As our Manager, HR & Administration, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and success of our organization. Key HR Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and hiring.
- Ensure an exceptional onboarding experience by collaborating with payroll, IT, and benefit providers.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes with professionalism and respect.
- Lead the annual performance review process and collaborate with managers on development opportunities.
- Leverage BambooHR for record-keeping, reporting, and onboarding system optimization.
- Manage and update the employee handbook and HR policies to reflect compliance with regulations and organizational needs.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Champion employee recognition programs, including celebrating Length of Service milestones.
- Plan and execute team-building events, educational workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by acting as the go-to person for employee relations and conflict resolution.
Facilities & Safety Management
- Oversee office facilities, including vendor management, space planning, and security.
- Lead the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC), ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage WorkSafe claims, conduct risk assessments, and implement safety training programs.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HR and safety records, including employee files and safety logs.
- Use HR metrics and insights to recommend improvements in HR and safety programs.

Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Education: BA degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is required
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and facilities management.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRMS platforms (BambooHR preferred).
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (this role requires commuting between offices in Richmond and Burnaby).

Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Location: This full-time, in-office role requires you to divide your time between our Richmond and Burnaby offices.
